Andrea Bobotis is a native of South Carolina. Her fiction has received support from the James Jones First Novel Fellowship, and her essays on Irish writers have appeared in academic journals such as Victorian Studies and the Irish University Review. Bobotis’s debut novel is “[T]houghtful and quintessentially Southern … The well-told tale unfolds like a magnolia, slowly revealing a languid beauty. Mystery fans will also be satisfied” (Publishers Weekly). She holds a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Virginia and lives with her family in Denver, Colorado, where she teaches at Lighthouse Writers Workshop.
