Ash Davidson was born in Arcata, California, and attended the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
Her debut novel, Damnation Spring, was named a best book of the year by Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, Newsweek, Kirkus, Amazon, the Chicago Public Library, BookPage, and BookRiot. Additionally, it was selected as a best California book of the year and an Editors’ Choice by the New York Times, and a Washington Post notable book.
